An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group Continence Nursing team to cover long service leave in 2024 and again in 2025. Seeking to maximise clients’ independence, the role involves assessing client continence function, developing client centred care plans and completing appropriate intervention. The position will involve both home visits and centre based assessments, across a range of Commonwealth and State Government funding streams including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills in continence management
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
The following experience/qualifications would be also considered advantageous:
- Experience in the provision of Continence services within a community setting and/or NDIS experience

The Workforce Attraction & Retention Specialist is an exciting new role that will focus on the development and management of the WGHG Workforce Strategic Plan. This role involves creating strategies to attract talent to WGHG as well as initiatives to increase the retention of our valued current employees. This role will promote the WGHG brand through recruitment initiatives and events as well as establishing links with local businesses to support the workforce strategy. The Workforce Attraction & Retention Specialist is key to helping grow the workforce at WGHG by finding, attracting, nurturing and sustaining our most valued asset, our employees.
