Registered Nurse Grade 4 Teacher (YW4-YZ8)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning and Development Unit at West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of Clinical Educator Emergency.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of education and development services, including but not limited to, in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.
We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated, experienced and enthusiastic people with a passion for learning and development to work collaboratively in providing high quality learning opportunities, using a range of modalities which support and enable participants to practice as safe, confident and accountable professionals.
This stimulating role would suit an experienced nurse who has clinical expertise in the area of Emergency and is flexible, solutions focused, commitment to quality, willingness to accept a challenge and enjoys working within a team that is dedicated to providing great service to their client group.
Our preferred candidate will have:
Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Extensive post registration clinical experience and expertise in the area of Emergency, no less than 5 years post registration Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant tertiary qualification in education Experience in clinical teaching, development and preceptoring
The following experience/qualifications would be also considered advantageous:
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
