Hours are available to a broad variety of areas including acute, subacute, community rehab, outpatients and aged care across a 7 day a week service.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of organisational and decision-making skills. In addition, the preferred candidate will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- The ability to apply a high level of clinical knowledge and skills in physiotherapy practice.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to provide support and supervision to junior staff, assistants and students.
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the WGHG’s corporate image through managing WGHG’s communication initiatives.
The successful applicant will promote our services, coordinate fundraising activities and be responsible for managing media and other public enquiries. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of education and development services, including but not limited to, in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.

Our preferred candidate will have:
- Degree in Social Work
- Eligibility of membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Extensive experience in Social Work, no less than 5 years
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education, development and supervision in the relevant area and/or inter-disciplinary field
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in education/clinical education
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or currently studying towards this qualification, or relevant tertiary qualification in education

An exciting opportunity has arisen for interested Nurses at WGHG to join the Learning and Development Unit in the role of Clinical Support Nurse. We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Nurses to provide clinical support to our Perioperative/Theatre team with a focus on Graduates and Postgraduate participants. This is a Fixed-term part-time position from January 2024 until November 2024. This would entail working with the Learning and Development Unit to provide support to our Clinical Educators within clinical areas via hands-on teaching, mentoring and guidance to all Nurses including Graduate Nurses, Postgraduate Nursing students and Registered Nurses to develop further:
- Supernumerary supported time in a range of settings
- Support for the acquisition of clinical skills
- Supporting continuing professional development
- Providing clinical supervision
- Supporting formal education programs
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an interest in clinical education and support of students and Graduates, as well as holding multiple clinical competencies. It is advantageous if an applicant is a current assessor, although training can be provided for a suitable applicant. Our preferred candidate will have:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia

The Occupational Therapy Department provides services to a number of areas including acute, subacute, Community Rehab, Aged Care and outpatients. This role involves rotations between acute inpatient units and the Community Allied Health Team. It also involves the provision of some outpatient services.
The Community Allied Health Team are based off-site in our Community Services building in the centre of Warragul. The OT team is comprised of Grade 3 and Grade 2 Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary AHAs who work within a multidisciplinary Community Allied Health Team.
Our departments encourage and support clinical supervision and professional development including dedicated, highly skilled and experienced senior Occupational Therapists to provide support, mentoring and supervision. We work closely with the multidisciplinary Allied Health team to provide high quality, person centred services to our consumers.
