An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning and Development Unit at West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of Clinical Educator Theatre.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of education and development services, including but not limited to, in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.
We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated, experienced and enthusiastic people with a passion for learning and development to work collaboratively in providing high quality learning opportunities, using a range of modalities which support and enable participants to practice as safe, confident and accountable professionals.
This stimulating role would suit an experienced nurse who has clinical expertise in the area of Theatre and is flexible, solutions focused, commitment to quality, willingness to accept a challenge and enjoys working within a team that is dedicated to providing great service to their client group.
Our preferred candidate will have:
· Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
· Extensive post registration clinical experience and expertise in the area of Theatre, no less than 5 years post registration
· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education
· Demonstrated experience in clinical education, development and preceptoring
· Evidence of ongoing professional development in education/clinical education
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
· Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative services or like
· Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Our Human Resources Department is seeking an exceptional administrator to provide support to the team in a job share capacity. You will be our front facing point of contact, responsible for providing a welcoming and professional service to all WGHG staff via online, phone and face to face contact. Specific tasks include preparing various employment related paperwork, onboarding new staff, maintaining staff databases & monitoring compliance, assisting with job advertising, and other general administration duties. This is a busy role and requires an ability to juggle multiple tasks and a varied workload.
This position is based at the Warragul Hospital site. Further information is contained within the attached position description.
We are looking for someone who has the following skills & experience:
· A background in HR, Recruitment, Business Administration or Health Administration
· Superb customer service skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Experience working with a Human Resource Information Management Systems (HRIS) or similar customer/client database ; MS Office and other administrative software
· Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks consecutively
· The ability to work well as part of a small professional team
The role is a job-share position, requiring you to work collaboratively and provide full shared coverage across administrative HR services and office operating hours (Monday – Friday). As such, the set working days are Monday and Wednesdays every week, Tuesday once a fortnight, the remaining day’s/hours can be negotiated with the successful applicant. Additional hours may be available at times to provide leave cover.
