Palliative Care Nurse CNC (community focus)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant. This is an opportunity for an advanced practitioner to be part of an established highly regarded District Nursing team that delivers Palliative Care to the community within the Baw Baw Shire.

As a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant you will be expected to have a hands on approach to care delivery and coordination of the palliative care program.  You must have relevant recent experience and expertise in this field of nursing.

This role is fundamental to the delivery of excellent patient focused palliative care. The successful applicant will work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a person who has the ability to prioritise and be flexible to meet the demands of a changing day to day business. The successful person will to have to demonstrate prioritisation, self-motivation, have excellent clinical skills as well as excellent commination skills.
