Allied & Community Health-based at West Gippsland Hospital.
Occupational Therapist Grade 1 or 2-Casual hours available.
The Occupational Therapy Department is seeking applications for a casual hours for a Grade 1 or 2 position.
This position involves providing Occupational Therapy to the acute inpatient units, Community Rehabilitation Service , Transition Care Program and occupational therapy to other areas as needed.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high level of clinical skill and experience, and may also be responsible for the provision of supervision to Allied Health Assistants and students.
Our preferred candidates will hold:
Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board. Membership of the Australian Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent. Current Victorian Driver’s Licence. A high level of theoretical and practical clinical knowledge in a wide area of Occupational Therapy practice. Excellent communication (both verbal & written) skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
