Paediatrics - Social Worker
Grade 2

Part Time – 32 hours per week over 5 days
Fixed Term until 30 June 2019

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Paediatric - Social Worker to provide services at the West Gippsland Hospital. The candidate will have a degree in Social Work and be eligible for a membership with Australian Association of Social Workers and have extensive experience with working with children.

The primary focus of the position will be to provide specialist services to inpatient services focussing on the paediatric services of the West Gippsland Healthcare Group.  The Paediatric Social Worker will join an established team of social workers that deliver psychosocial assessment, planning and implementation of the discharge care needs of the patient in the acute setting.
