Continuing & Complex Care - Subacute Care Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM)
A range of permanent or casual hours available

We currently have ongoing hours available in our Geriatric Evaluation Management program for suitably qualified Nurses. Experience or post graduate qualifications in gerontology or rehabilitation would be highly regarded however not necessary. We offer a friendly, team focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in house salary packaging and free car parking. We have a learning culture that encourages ongoing education and offer generous study leave, support and assistance from our Clinical Educators.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Commitment to oversee the processes required for a quality service with a patient centred focus.
• Flexibility and the ability to work all shifts.
• Commitment to a team approach to care delivery. 

Candidates with the following would be highly regarded:

• Recent experience in Geriatric Nursing or rehabilitation.
• Recent experience in a Medical Nursing.
